Bowie Branch Saddle Club was founded in 2026 by Juliana and Brian with a simple goal: to bring people together who share a love for horses, barrel racing, and good times in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

Juliana was previously a member of a saddle club in Tennessee that offered the kind of atmosphere we wanted to create here—a place where riders could come together, enjoy their horses, compete, and have fun without the pressure and intensity that can sometimes come with larger shows. After Juliana moved to South Carolina, we realized there wasn’t a similar type of saddle club in the area, so we decided to create one ourselves.

Bowie Branch Saddle Club is all about keeping things fun, friendly, and low-stress. Whether you’re an experienced barrel racer, just getting started, or simply someone who enjoys spending time around horses, we want you to feel welcome. Our goal is to create a community where families, friends, and riders of all experience levels can come together, make memories, and enjoy the sport we love.

This club is not set up to make a profit. Our focus is on building a great club and a great community. All membership, entry, and other club fees will go directly toward the costs of running Bowie Branch Saddle Club, putting on events, and providing prizes for our riders.

At the end of the day, it’s not just about who crosses the finish line the fastest. It’s about the horses, the people, the friendships, and having a place where everyone can come out, let loose, and enjoy a day at the arena.
